Dr. Tape -
Curriculum Vitae

Dr.
Tape established Pediatric Dentistry in 1994 in
Richmond, Texas with the philosophy that every child
deserves the opportunity for quality care regardless
of their race, social or economic background. In
2007, Dr. Tape expanded her practice to provide a
new spacious state-of the-art office in Rosenberg
only one mile from her original office.
Dr. Tape graduated cum laude from LSU with a
Bachelor’s Degree in Science and received her
Doctorate from University of Texas Health Science
Center in Houston. Dr. Tape then specialized in
pediatric dentistry by completing a residency
program at University of Texas Health Science Center
in Houston where she served as Chief Resident. In
2002, Dr. Tape received her Board Certification as a Diplomate from the American Board of Pediatric
Dentistry.
Dr. Tape is not only an active member but also a
past editor of the Texas Academy of Pediatric
Dentistry. She is also involved in the local, state
and national dental organizations.
Treating the underprivileged and underserved has
also been a goal of Dr. Tape’s. She has served on a
Mission Trip to Mexico as the only pediatric
dentist.
Dr Tape is active in many local community
organizations including serving on the Fort Bend
Family Health Center’s Board, Oaks at Rio Bend’s
Board and as a member/officer of the Richmond Rotary
Club. Dr. Tape is known for countless hours of
volunteerism and her fundraising for many charities
and community projects.
Dr. Tape is a passionate wife, mother, doctor, leader,
motivator, and teacher with high moral values and a
great compassion for others. She has served as
Associate Professor at the University of Texas
Health Science Center in Houston where she is
considered a mentor and highly respected for her
“real practice experiences”.
Dr.
Moran
Dr. Moran joined Dr. Tape’s practice in July of
2008. She brings a deep compassion for the well
being of all children. She shares Dr. Tape’s
philosophy that every child deserves the opportunity
for quality care regardless of their race, social or
economical background. Dr. Moran has a strong desire
to help each child experience a positive environment
and attitude about their dental care. She is known
for her keen ability to change an anxious child into
an educated child who knows they can be cavity free.
Dr. Moran is originally from Colorado. In 1996 Dr.
Moran moved to Katy, Texas beginning her path to a
profession she sought with great enthusiasm and
conviction. Dr. Moran graduated Cum Laude from Texas
A&M Corpus Christi with a Bachelors’ Degree in
Biology and Psychology. She received her Doctorate
of Dental Surgery from University of Texas Health
Science Center in Houston. Dr. Moran’s love for
pediatrics began early with her clinical focus on
pediatrics.
Dr. Moran is an active member in many professional
organizations including; the American Dental
Association, Texas Dental Association and the
Greater Houston Dental Society.
Dr. Moran’s technical excellence is only secondary
to her enthusiastic passion to serve as a positive
impact in the dental health of each child’s life.
Auxiliary Staff:
• Clinical Staff All clinical assistants and
dental hygienists are certified by the Texas State
Board of Dental Examiners. Each clinical assistant
and dental hygienist is required to continue their
education each year by attending continuing
education classes. Several team members have
additional certifications in nitrous oxide
monitoring and sealant placement. These
certifications allow the staff to better serve your
child and enhance their visit to the dentist. The
clinical staff has over 50 years of combined
pediatric experience.
• Administrative Staff: You will find the
administrative staff to be very knowledgeable,
efficient, helpful and courteous. They receive
professional training and guidance provided by a
Professional Consulting Firm. You will find their
“patient and parent comes first” attitude to be
refreshing. The administrative staff has over 45
years of combined pediatric experience.
Both the clinical and administrative teams provide
community education through health fairs,
presentations and school programs which include “Tooth Fairy”
visits.
